Editor's Note

Volume IV; August 2010
It was 15th August 1947. Jawaharlal Nehru, spoke these words to a nation waking up to Freedom. A country that had got rid of its foreign yoke and embraced Sovereignty. It was a day of fulfillment, it was the day of a new beginning, a birth of a nation. On the stroke of midnight, a country came into life again.

63 years hence, we still harbour a sense of pride when we think of the day. And with the same feeling of undiminished patriotism, we bring to you the latest volume of N-Zine soaked in the spirit of Independence.

We have a plethora of posts for you this time around. From poems to fiction, photographs to essays, celebrating freedom, contemplating on its true meaning and reminding that freedom is not merely to be enjoyed but to be fiercely protected and celebrated. All from our wonderful contributors who took time to write for us. Hope you enjoy.

And as you enjoy these delectable works, join us in welcoming a new Zineous on board. Put your hands together for Sudhakar.

And of course please exercise your freedom and let us know what you think. If you would like to be a part of this magazine, have helpful suggestions for us or just for your valued feedback, email us at nzinemag@gmail.com.

Do join us next time, when we celebrate the foodie in us... :)

This is the first vol that I have read seriously. It is awesome and would compliment all those who are contributing.Of course, Neha seems to be real pusher in getting this going with support of friends like yourselves.
Good luck.

I liked the new column for poetry... The name 'Verse-a-tile' is a really apt one for it. Kudos to whoever came up with it. One more reason to like n-zine :)
Happy Independence day.. Keep going. Good luck
